KAY DAWSON, French Horn, and JOHN STAFFORD, piano. Former London freelance professional horn player, Kay Dawson, together with her accompanist, John Stafford, both now well-known Suffolk teachers, will be presenting a programme of light classical music, including pieces by Schumann, Saint-Saens, Alan Abbott, York Bowen and Arnold Cooke.

THE DECIBELL DUO
ELLIE LOVEGROVE, trumpets, and CHRIS ELDRED, piano. Both London-based young professionals, Ellie has performed with BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and pop-artist Seal. Chris studied on the Jazz course at Trinity, and has held the piano chair in the National Youth Jazz Orchestra for the past three years. Today they’ll introduce exciting 20th century music by Stanley, Bozza, Takemitzu and Gershwin, played on a variety of trumpets!

SAM PIHA, guitar. International performer, Sam Piha, is more than a classical guitarist. His repertoire ranges from the well-known classic guitar works through to Spanish gypsy pieces, Brazilian classics, arrangements of traditional Celtic folk melodies and his own compositions – an invitation not to sit still for today’s exciting programme!
